How much does it cost to book a property online?

In order to secure your reservation, 10% of the total amount + a US$2 booking fee must be paid online. Prices stated are per person per night.

Do I require a credit card to book online?

You need a valid credit card to make an online reservation.

Is this a secure web site?

The booking and confirmation section of Trav.com is secured to 128bit encryption through Verisign. This is currently the highest standard of security available on the Internet and ensures that any information which you submit including your credit card details will remain completely confidential.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservations?

Information on cancelling or changing your booking will be contained the confirmation email you receive after your booking has been made. Please note that you must agree with the property's specific cancellation policy as part of the booking process.

Are these bookings guaranteed and confirmed?

When you make your booking, you will be provided with an Itinerary and Confirmation Number. Shortly after you will receive a confirmation email with full details of your booking. Your booking will then be fully confirmed unless it is specifically stated otherwise in the email.

How early do I need to book ahead?

As a precaution, it is advisable to book as far ahead as possible. Throughout the year, the most popular properties in main cities are booked out well in advance, particularly during the summer months. Therefore it is recommended that you book ahead and guarantee a room!

I stayed at a hotel booked through Trav.com and I have a complaint.

The properties on Trav.com are all separate enterprises and we do not own them or manage them, we simply provide them with the facility to accept online reservations, so we do advise that you direct your complaint to the hotel in question during your stay. However we do take all complaints seriously, and will monitor them, and forward them in turn to the hotel.
