Breakfast was good enough for me - cornflakes and toast & jam/butter, juice, tea... The bed linen didn\'t look particularly fresh, and the room (4-bedded) was small. Though, for the money paid, it\'s a good option.

They have a good lounge and kitchen and the staff were very friendly. I would go there again.

Friendly staff, good cleaning staff, warm (big tick when in Liverpool) and really nice chill out space with sky sports so you can watch the football. Would stay there again.

The matress was lumpy & u could feel every spring. These 2 things were the only parts that let down our stay. The Lodge was itself was great and so were the staff. It was a good location, to get everywhere in a cab was only about £4.
