Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Italy 1st January 2009 Couple 25-30 2/5 Comments: its not a hostel, but a proper hotel, surely not the worst in london. the bed was clean, however there were bugs in the bathroom and the kitchen area, and a bad smell all over the room. its not too far from city center even if the area is not highly recommendable. the staff was quite kind, but they tried to give us another room (with separate bathroom instead of the ensuite).

Also, not possible to adjust radiator so was very hot at the start of the night. Bed not so comfy. Overall, cheap and we got what we paid for.

Unfortunately we never made it for breakfast.... I also like the area - Peckham - in which it is located and found getting to the lodge uncomplicated. The special price for the room was unbeatable. There is a secured carpark, i think is pretty important. 24 hour reception so you can go out as long as you want. This place is recommended for everyone. thanks
