| Comments: Due to renovations of part of the Russell Court building, we were offered an upgrade to a 3 star hotel across the road. Everyone was very helpful and we settled the finances with Russell Court staff before we moved to the other hotel. They also offered us free parking for our car. |

| Comments: We liked are stay in your Hotel. The see view was perfect. The room was perfect for us 3. Clean: why are the places below the beds/ corners othe room, always the forgotten places for cleaning?
There not so much presure on in the bathroom by the water. The douche is oke but difficult to chance the warmth.
Breakfast super. We only missed a easy chair and also easy chairs in the bar.
Further we enjoyed. The remarks are only to help you. Thanks and kind regards |

| Comments: The £5 extra parking charge was a surprise on arrival, as was the large sign by the front desk telling us the price of breakfast. Thankfully the latter was included in the room price, but overall I would like to know that the price quoted on the website is the definite price I will be paying.
Otherwise, the hotel was pleasant and staff were quite courteous. |

| Comments: The room I booked was described on this website (trav) as en suite. However, upon arriving I was told that my bathroom was actually two doors down. |

| Comments: Very clean & secure, nice rooms & very nice en-suite, thank goodness for the tv because no other entertainment were available. The car park was quite expensive, £5.00 to be exact although it was three quarters empty & the morning of departure we were about to leave the room at 10am when we received a phone call to remind us of departure that felt like the staff did not trust us as we were young looking. L received that feeling on arrival & departure!! If in Bournmouth again i would certainly look elsewhere first for more welcoming hospitality! |

| Comments: When we checked out of the hotel we asked to leave our bags there for a few hours. We were very disappointed to be told that we would be charged £5 per bag. I have stayed in 15 other hotels and hostels during this trip and have NEVER before been charged to leave bags with reception. Since we did not wish to spend the entire day carting around our backpacks we had to agree to the charge and were told to take them to the dining room, whence they would be stored for us. When we returned a few hours later the bags lay exactly where we had left them. Since there was little in the way of security for our possessions, I don't see how they could possibly have justified this charge. When I told the gentleman on reception how unhappy I was about the situation his response was entirely unsatisfactory.
A fellow guest had a similar issue with his car space. He had paid for a car parking space in addition to his room tariff and was told after checkout that in order to leave his car there for another few hours he would be charged another £10. He was also very unhappy with the response he received from the staff.
In addition, the food available for dinner was of rather low standard and poor value for money, and our beds were very shabbily made.
I would not recommend staying at this establishment. |
